Dr Nicola Angelotti’s contribution

We retain the link to “Il melanoma”, published by the nangelot channel and attributed in the original collection to Dr Nicola Angelotti, the site’s founder. It forms part of the project’s history. Its title and link availability were checked; it is not presented as a new recording or a 2026 treatment update.

Diagnostic and treatment information should be compared with the revised pages and current sources. Retaining this contribution does not attribute later editorial revisions to its author. Viewing opens YouTube, whose own terms and data policies apply.

Current information, personal accounts and old links

Before following a video, check authorship, date, qualifications and sources. A short interview may omit eligibility, adverse effects and differences between countries. Surgical demonstrations can contain graphic images; decide when to watch them, especially around children.

Three of the five historical YouTube videos were unavailable through metadata checking. “Understanding Melanoma (Skin Cancer #7)” by Healthguru remained identifiable but is not used as a current treatment source. The original Mayo Clinic sentinel node link could not be confirmed at its old destination. Thumbnails are retained as records of the collection without buttons promising unverified content.

Use written information alongside videos to examine references and dates. Automatic subtitles may mistranslate medical terms, doses and negatives. Note uncertainties and discuss them with the clinician rather than changing treatment because of a video or personal account.
