Images retain the original collection’s groupings. Appearance varies with the instrument, lighting and image capture. Captions identify archive material and do not represent new histological verification of each case.
Before comparing images
Interpretation requires clinical history, direct examination and dermoscopy expertise. Similar images can represent different conditions. If you are concerned about your own lesion, use the self-examination and ABCDE guides for orientation and seek medical assessment.
